Kim Kardashian Reveals This Relatable Workout Habit That Frustrates Her Trainer

Kim Kardashian never misses her workouts and sticks to a strict 90–minute exercise routine every morning, but she admits she’s not the easiest client to train. The 44-year-old opened up about her fitness routine in a new interview with Vogue.

The reality TV star revealed her sessions usually focus on weight training, with stretching, cardio, and a dose of Pilates to help with recurring back issues. She’s consistent, but there is one thing that gets in the way of her discipline — her phone.

Kim Kardashian confesses to checking her phone throughout her workout session

Kim Kardashian recently spoke to Vogue about her exercise routine and what tends to get in the way of her workouts. She disclosed that she alternates upper and lower body days and tries to make exercising a regular and consistent feat.

However, she admitted that her phone distracts her. “I am the kind of annoying workout person where I check my phone throughout the workout, though, and respond to people,” Kardashian told Vogue. She added, “I’m sure that really frustrates my trainer.”

The SKIMS founder admitted that not every trendy option works for her either. Hot yoga once put her straight to sleep, and she has ruled out dance-style fitness classes altogether. Hence, she relies on music, confessing she often lifts weights with Justin Bieber playing in the background.

This level of commitment to her workouts ties directly back to her latest business move. Later this month, Kardashian is launching NikeSKIMS, her new activewear partnership with the athletic footwear and apparel brand.

The joint venture launches on September 26 and has already rolled out a campaign. Moreover, star athletes Serena Williams, Sha’Carri Richardson, Chloe Kim, and Jordan Chiles are fronting the ad campaign.

For Kim Kardashian, her daily workouts aren’t just about staying in shape, as her exercise routine also keeps her grounded. In the interview, she said, “I love to work out—it’s my therapy,” describing fitness as part of her balance more than a vanity project.

Her interview reveals that she is serious when it comes to working out. But her honesty about sneaking looks at her phone proves she’s not above distraction.
