A new trend has emerged, following the launch of Google‘s Nano Banana AI, with users writing a prompt on Gemini that creates AI Polaroids of themselves hanging out with celebrities, younger versions of themselves, or loved ones. Moreover, these AI-generated Polaroids look convincingly real, greatly surprising many. This is just one of the several trends that have recently emerged around Nano Banana. Other trends include users creating photos of themselves in captivating sarees or turning themselves into 3D figurines.
Gemini prompt gains attention for making AI polaroids
The Gemini Polaroid trend has taken social media by storm, with users utilizing AI to create images resembling pictures taken by a Polaroid camera. Users have created images showing them interacting with different celebrities in all sorts of ways, like hugging or talking with them, as well as other shots of users hugging younger versions of themselves, or hanging out with loved ones.
To create an AI Polaroid picture, all you need to do is open the Gemini application. Then upload two pictures — one of yourself and the other of the person you would like to see in the image, such as a celebrity or even a younger version of yourself. After this, enter a prompt describing the image you would like to see and hit send to see the result.
Moreover, you can animate the Polaroid images however you want using the MyEdit application.
The AI Polaroid trend is powered by Google Gemini’s Nano Banana. This is an image generator that allows you to create photos combining distinct ideas.
Other trends have emerged following Nano Banana’s launch, besides the AI Polaroid trend. One is the “Vintage Saree” trend, where women share AI-generated photos of themselves in dazzling sarees. Meanwhile, another is the 3D figurine trend, where users create images showing themselves as action figures. These figures are situated next to a box with the figure’s artwork, and a computer screen containing a digital model of the figurine.
