For those unversed, Hawke had previously appeared in the music video for “Fortnight,” the lead single from Swift’s eleventh studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, along with Josh Charles.

The Black Phone star recently shared about his daughter’s love for the Grammy winner and revealed whether he hopes to receive an invitation to her upcoming wedding with Travis Kelce.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Ethan Hawke spoke about Taylor Swift and how the pop star is such an important part of their household. He shared earnestly, “I have three daughters, so like Taylor Swift is pervasive in our household.” Hawke also recalled his own personal connection to the pop star, much before they filmed the music video for “Fortnight.”
Moreover, the 54-year-old actor recalled that when Swift was about 16 or 17 years old, he was writing a profile on the late musician and actor Kris Kristofferson and was “slightly embarrassed” that Maya had a Taylor Swift t-shirt and was running around the house. Seeing this, Kristofferson had remarked that Swift was going to be the “best American songwriter ever if she stays sober,” Hawke added with a laugh.
For those unversed, Taylor Swift personally invited Ethan Hawke and his Dead Poets Society co-star Josh Charles to star in the music video for “Fortnight.” At the time, when asked about this special collaboration, Hawke stated that the pop star wanted to pay tribute to Dead Poets Society.
