Beauty in Black Season 2 Part 2 to release 8 more episodes in 2026
Actor Richard Lawson, who plays Norman in Beauty in Black, revealed when Season 2 Part 2 could come out and how many episodes it will contain. When a fan asked whether Season 2 would have more episodes in the comment section of one of his Instagram posts about the show, Lawson replied, “There are eight more episodes in season two. They will come in February or March.”
It was previously confirmed that Season 2 Part 2 would have eight episodes, just like the previous parts. Lawson narrowed down its release date window to early 2026.
The plot of Beauty in Black revolves around two women with contrasting lives: One is an exotic dancer, and the other is a wealthy business owner trapped in a loveless marriage. Everything changes when their paths cross. Besides Lawson, the cast includes Taylor Polidore Williams as Kimmie, Crystle Stewart as Mallory, Ricco Ross as Horace Bellarie, Amber Reign Smith as Rain, and Xavier Smalls as Angel. Tyler Perry created the show and directed its episodes.
In a recent interview with TVLine, Polidore Williams disclosed that Perry and his team filmed all 16 episodes of the sophomore chapter in 12 days. “I ask [Perry] all the time, ‘How are you doing this?” she elaborated. “He was sending me the scripts as he finished them. One day I got one, then the next day I got another. I’m like, ‘Tyler, how do you do this?!’ I was writing my own feature at the time, and I’m like, ‘Two scenes done!’ Meanwhile, he’s sending three episodes, four episodes — I was like, ‘Oh my God.’”
