King Charles’ Recent Interactions Could ‘Tear the Palace Apart,’ Says Source

Prince William is reportedly not liking King Charles’ new interactions. According to a source, the 76-year-old might have gotten on his son’s bad side because of Prince Andrew and Prince Harry. His interaction with them has not seemingly sit well with the heir. The news came after the monarch met the Duke of Sussex on the latter’s US visit, and spoke with his brother Andrew at a recent royal gathering.

Prince William is not particularly pleased after King Charles’ interaction with Prince Andrew, says source

Prince William and King Charles recently gathered at the Westminster Cathedral to attend the funeral of Katharine, the Duchess of Kent. Royal family members, including Prince Andrew, joined the attendees on September 16. There, people caught the Prince of Wales’ glare that he shot towards his father.

According to Rob Shuter’s #ShuterScoop, the 43-year-old was not pleased with King Charles’s interaction with Prince Andrew. Due to his infamous controversies, the latter has seemingly become a thorn in the royal family. Hence, William appeared to be cold towards his uncle. Allegedly, he looked annoyed at the funeral when he witnessed the monarch responding to Andrew’s jokes.

“Andrew was grinning, Charles was chuckling — and William looked like he’d swallowed nails,” the palace insider claimed. They stated that the “contrast” among the trio seemed “brutal.” Further, according to the palace courtiers, the future king appeared to be furious at his father for being lenient.

Reportedly, his frustration keeps “mounting” after King Charles showed his soft side by interacting with Andrew and Prince Harry. As per William, the monarch seemed to let “sentiment destroy credibility.” Especially with Andrew, the heir is allegedly more bitter. “William wants Andrew gone for good,” a senior aide said.

However, he cannot take any serious measures as the current king still sees the Duke of York as his family. “That’s the rift threatening to tear the palace apart,” the source concluded.
