Dave Blunts Claims Kanye West ‘Tried to Groom Him’ In Diss Track

Dave Blunts released a new diss track accusing controversial rapper Kanye West of trying to groom him. The diss track also highlighted the two artists’ dynamic and how West treated Blunts. This track was released after Blunts confirmed on social media that he stopped working with the record producer. Notably, Blunts has been reported to be the sole songwriter of West’s upcoming album, In a Perfect World.

Dave Blunts’ new diss track mentions Kanye West

Dave Blunts released a new diss track aimed at Kanye West, titled “Tired of Being Groomed.” In it, he alleged that West made him hate Jews and also tried to groom him, stressing that it was his “truth.” He expressed remorse for the same, noting he “never meant to be that type of dude.”

Later, the 24-year-old rapper claimed that the “Donda” artist gave him “millions of dollars,” even though he didn’t ask for a “handout.” Blunts also accused West of trying to act like his father and make him think he was a scholar. Furthermore, he claimed that the Yeezy founder switched up on him.

Blunts also highlighted West’s alleged sexual intercourse with a cousin. The 48-year-old musician once claimed on X (formerly Twitter) that he performed oral sex on his male cousin — with whom he viewed dirty magazines — when he was 14.

Blunts used West’s admission of having sex with his cousin against him in the following chorus of the lyrics, where he emphasized that the latter had no power over him:

“I’m not yo’ cousin, you can’t top me
I’m not your cousin, you can’t top me
I’m not yo’ cousin, you can’t top me, yeah”

Blunts also clarified that he didn’t support Hitler and apologized. Previously, in February 2025, West went on an antisemitic rant on X. In it, he professed his support for the late dictator.

Blunts’ diss track comes after he told fans via Instagram to stop asking him about West’s music, and that he was on his “own path” (via Kurrco).

Later, a text chain between the two was shared online, offering more context behind Blunts’ comments. In it, Blunts told West that he could no longer work with him. The former added that he was going on his “own journey,” which didn’t “align” with West’s wishes for Blunts. West responded, asking about “the parts that didn’t align.” Blunts countered, saying, “You are very lost. Please find god.”
