King Charles Had a Motive Behind Reuniting with Prince Harry & It Involved Prince William, Says Source

King Charles‘ long-awaited reunion with Prince Harry may have also been a way of warning Prince William. The Duke of Sussex recently had a face-to-face meeting with his father for the first time in 19 months. Charles and Harry had a private tea at the king’s residence in London on September 10. However, the monarch’s elder son wasn’t a part of this reunion. According to the latest claims, Charles deliberately left William out to send a stern message.

A new report claims that Prince William was deliberately excluded from King Charles and Prince Harry’s recent meeting. The once-estranged father and son’s reunion had been shaping over the last few months since the news surfaced that their respective aides met in London in July. Harry’s relations with his family soured after he and his wife, Meghan Markle, made a series of shocking claims against the British royals.

However, things have been shifting for the Duke of Sussex. Harry has been making efforts to mend bridges with his family, and the reunion with Charles marked a huge step in their reconciliation. While the duke met his father, there was no sign of his elder brother, William. In fact, the Prince of Wales or his representatives reportedly haven’t been part of the reconciliation discussions.

It now appears that Charles had a motive behind meeting Harry, and it involved William. RadarOnline exclusively learned from a source that the king “wanted to make it absolutely clear that he is still in charge.” They claimed that leaving William out of the discussions “wasn’t an oversight.” The source said, “It was deliberate.” The king had a message for his elder son about the monarchy.

Although William will one day take the crown, Charles made it clear that the “monarchy is his to run for as long as he reigns.” On the other hand, royal commentator Ian Pelham-Turner also told RadarOnline that William and his representatives not being “invited” was a “warning shot.” They explained that it was about showing that Charles will be deciding “what happens during his reign,” and not his elder son.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry recently also shared an update. The duke said that the meeting with King Charles had brought his kids returning to the home country “closer.”
