‘Scarred’ Queen Camilla Not Ready to Embrace Prince Harry’s Reconciliation Efforts, Says Source

Queen Camilla might be reluctant to support plans for making amends and a possible reconciliation with Prince Harry. The latter recently visited the United Kingdom and had a much-awaited reunion with King Charles nearly two years after their last in-person meeting. But not every family member has been on board with the efforts.

A source dished that the “scarred” queen consort is likely the “biggest obstacle” between her stepson and the monarchy. She reportedly isn’t ready to embrace Harry’s effort to resolve the years-long conflict.

Queen Camilla was deeply hurt by Prince Harry’s words used in his memoir ‘Spare,’ says source

Rob Shuter #ShuterScoop exclusively learned about Queen Camilla’s reasons for not accepting Prince Harry’s reconciliation efforts. She allegedly still hasn’t come around to the plans of the duke’s potential homecoming, years after he and Meghan Markle stepped down from their roles as senior royals and moved across the pond. A source claimed that it’s because she was “deeply” hurt by the words her stepson used in his tell-all memoir, “Spare.”

The queen consort reportedly “will not forget the things” Harry said about her in the book. Moreover, she isn’t one to “forgive easily,” and she certainly won’t be very forgiving in his case. A second insider alleged that the Duke of Sussex has been “extremely unkind to her” and that his words weren’t “just gossip” to her — they were “betrayal.” The report further revealed that he remarked in the book that his stepmom played the “long game” and dubbed her “dangerous.”

Harry‘s accusations in his memoir had allegedly left Camilla “hurt” and “scarred.” However, Shuter’s report revealed that she won’t forget the words he used in his book, comparing her memory to steel. Taking this claim into account, a source continued that the royal family members “make elephants look like they have short memories.” They believe the queen consort “won’t simply smile and move on” from this one.

As for Harry, he seems to be going over the top to make this reconciliation with his estranged family successful, but he might have suffered a setback. On Sunday, The Guardian published an exclusive interview with him, in which he defended his memoir, “Spare,” which reportedly didn’t sit well with the royals and left them livid. It happened days after he visited the U.K. and met King Charles.
