How Prince Harry Felt About UK Trip Amid King Charles Reconciliation

It’s a wrap for Prince Harry’s most-talk-about U.K. trip. The Duke of Sussex was in London for a few days to attend his beloved charity events. His trip came to an end with an appearance at a youth mental health event organized by The Diana Award on Thursday. According to his spokesperson, Harry “loved being back in the U.K.,” where he even met his father, King Charles III, after over a year.

Prince Harry’s spokesperson said the duke ‘loved being back in the U.K.’

Prince Harry’s U.K. visit came to an end on September 11, and as per his spokesperson, the Duke of Sussex had a great time meeting his loved and dear ones during the trip. As per PEOPLE, the spokesperson revealed that Harry “obviously loved being back in the U.K.”

The spokesperson added that the 40-year-old also loved “catching up with old friends, colleagues,” during his stay in England. But what made him the happiest was “being able to support the incredible work of the causes that mean so much to him.”

During his stay, Harry visited several charities that were close to his heart. From giving a speech at the WellChild awards to reuniting with his father after more than a year, the duke accomplished a lot in a few days.

While the media was covering Harry and his good deeds, everyone was eager to know whether the son and father would reunite or not. And much to everyone’s pleasure, Harry and the monarch did meet for the first time in 19 months at Clarence House on Wednesday, September 10, for a private tea.

Although many details of their meeting have not been revealed, Buckingham Palace did confirm their meeting, adding that no further information will be made public. However, as per reports, Harry was in high spirits after the meeting and attended a London event for the Invictus Games post the reunion. At the event, when a reporter asked about King Charles, he politely replied, saying, “He’s great, thank you.”
