Tyla turned heads at the MTV Video Music Awards 2025, at the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York. She sported a gorgeous mini-dress with a short bob. Fans, impressed by her looks, took to her Instagram comment section to praise her looks and congratulate her on her win. For those unfamiliar, she was nominated twice at the VMAs. She emerged victorious in the Best Afrobeats category.

Tyla took to Instagram to share a series of images from the MTV VMAs 2025. In the post, she could be seen sporting a beige mini-dress with black designs, which was from Chanel’s Spring/Summer 1993 Ready-to-Wear collection.

To make the outfit chic, she opted for some minimal gold jewelry, also wearing a waistband. She wore black heels and completed her look with a straight-haired bob and nude makeup. Her nails were painted mint green. The post has two photos in which she could be seen in a pink silk robe.

Her caption read, “PUT ME IN CHANELLLLL @mtv. Thanks Tygrssssss.” This was followed by tags of various individuals who helped her achieve this look. She also opted for her 2024 song, “PUSH 2 START,” as background music.

Many fans and industry colleagues took to Tyla’s comment section to shower compliments on her appearance and also to congratulate her on the win. The singer won in the Best Afrobeats category for her song “PUSH 2 START” at the VMAs. She was also nominated for the Best Choreography for the same song, but it was Doechii’s “Anxiety” that won this category.
