Scarlett Johansson walked the red carpet in a champagne-pink, backless gown that drew attention to the striking ink on her back. Johansson’s tattoos included a large rose bush branch with thorns shaded in black and white and a delicate lamb design. This is one of the rare times the actress has given fans a close enough look at her tattoos.
Moreover, the spaghetti-strap dress, with falling sleeves, cinched at the waist, and a trailing bow, accentuated her figure and elevated her red-carpet walk. Johansson completed her look with her blonde hair styled in a sleek bun, dangling earrings, and natural yet glowing makeup.
While she looked glamorous on the red carpet, Johansson was also there to celebrate a milestone, aka her directorial debut with Eleanor The Great. The film stars veteran actress June Squibb in the lead role, alongside Chiwetel Ejiofor and Erin Kellyman.
The movie follows Eleanor Morgenstein, a woman in her 90s who, after her best friend’s passing, finds herself tangled in a web of lies when she pretends to be a Holocaust survivor. The film blends comedy and drama, ultimately getting a mixed response from critics. Notably, Johansson is not a part of Eleanor the Great as an actor, as she has chosen to be just behind the camera and support her team.
In addition to celebrating her film, Johansson shared an update with Entertainment Weekly about her husband Colin Jost’s role on Saturday Night Live. Amid uncertainty after several cast members leaving, she confirmed that Jost will return for Season 51.
