Tyla Shows Off Her Legs in Teeniest White Mini-Dress

Tyla made a striking appearance at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards when she arrived in a daringly short white dress. The singer showcased the look on the red carpet, pairing the vintage piece with bold jewelry and statement accessories. She completed her appearance with sleek glam and footwear that highlighted the outfit’s length.

Here’s what we know about her dress, the designer behind it, and how she styled the look for the night.

Tyla opts for teeniest white dress for VMAs

Tyla stepped onto the red carpet at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards in a vintage Chanel shirt reimagined as a micro mini dress.

The 23-year-old singer attended the event at UBS Arena in New York on September 7, 2025. She was nominated in two categories. The cream top, trimmed in black with gold chain accents, was first worn by Claudia Schiffer at the Chanel Haute Couture Spring/Summer 1993 show in Paris in 1992.

The “Push 2 Start” performer styled the archival piece with black briefs and Christian Louboutin pumps. She wore a short black bob with a deep side part. Her makeup included a soft smoky eye, long lashes, and a green manicure.

Tyla secured her outfit with extensive Pandora accessories. She layered multiple Pandora Talisman chains in different lengths, each decorated with assorted charms, across her neck and waist. Her wrists carried several Pandora bracelets, including the link, studded, clasp, and studded slider styles, along with multiple rings. She finished the look with ankle bracelets and large gold hoop earrings.

Onstage, Tyla earned the MTV VMA for best afrobeats with “Push 2 Start.” “It’s just a blessing to be here and winning another award,” she said while accepting. This was her second consecutive win in the category. She had also won in 2024 for her global hit “Water.”

The event featured several other major moments. LL Cool J returned as host. Lady Gaga led with 12 nominations, including Video of the Year and Artist of the Year. Other nominees included Bruno Mars, Kendrick Lamar, ROSÉ, Sabrina Carpenter, Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, Billie Eilish, Bad Bunny, and Tate McRae.
