MrBeast Faces Backlash for His Comment on Caleb Hearon

MrBeast has come under fire after weighing in on Rolling Stone’s recent ranking of digital creators, where comedian Caleb Hearon appeared higher on the list. The YouTube star questioned the placement in a now-deleted post, sparking widespread criticism.

What happened to MrBeast and Caleb Hearon?

A new controversy unfolded online after MrBeast reacted to Rolling Stone’s latest ranking of digital creators. The YouTuber, who holds the record as the platform’s most-subscribed creator and commands hundreds of millions of followers across social media, was listed at number seven on the publication’s list.

The controversy escalated when attention turned to the fact that comedian and actor Caleb Hearon appeared above MrBeast on the list. Hearon, who has an audience of just over one million followers, was ranked more influential than the YouTube star.

MrBeast reacted by posting his frustration on X. He wrote, “According to this list a guy with 1 million followers is more influential than me. What did I do to piss off The Rolling Stones?”

Although the post was deleted shortly afterward, it spread quickly across social platforms. The reaction across social platforms was swift, with many criticizing MrBeast. One user wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “Mrbeast’s mask slipping this much in less than a year has been fascinating to watch. Sorry Jimmy, Caleb has something you’ll never have: A personalty.”

Another commented, “Mr beast coming for caleb hearon is so funny because it’s like yeah ofc he’s more influential he has a good & funny personality and mr beast is a set of teeth with a body.” However, some expressed their support for MrBeast. Supporters stated that no other creator comes close to his audience numbers and the reach of his videos.

After widespread backlash, MrBeast acknowledged his mistake. He wrote on X, “Ngl after this I watched some of his stuff and it’s actually good. I deleted the tweet I don’t want the smoke from the shooters, spare me plz.”
