Travis Kelce‘s dad, Ed Kelce, recently spoke about his son’s relationship with Taylor Swift in an interview. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end and music superstar have been dating since 2023. In the two years since, the pair has frequently supported each other in their respective endeavors. Swift has shown up to watch many of Kelce’s games, while Kelce once supported the former in her record-breaking Eras Tour. Moreover, the couple has also become close with their respective families.

Ed Kelce recently attended the premiere of The Kingdom, an ESPN documentary about the Kansas City Chiefs and their legacy. At the event, he was approached by PEOPLE who asked him about the source behind his son Travis Kelce’s happiness.
“Taylor,” Ed Kelce responded. “There’s no question about it.”
The patriarch of the Kelce family also revealed that he had seen the episode of the New Heights podcast featuring Taylor Swift as a guest. He called the episode — which has received a total of 20 million views on YouTube, as of writing — “so good.”
“I think it was awesome,” he stated. “It was great to see them go back and forth.” He noted that the “Bad Blood” singer and “Happy Gilmore 2″ actor were “obviously very much in love.”
Earlier this month, Ed Kelce revealed to TODAY that he had no idea Taylor Swift would show up in the New Heights podcast. However, he stated that he knew Travis and Jason Kelce had plans to bring her on to the show. He added that Swift’s appearance was “a natural progression” for the podcast, which has already featured prominent guests like Adam Sandler and Brad Pitt.
Moreover, Kelce stayed tight-lipped when asked if there was marriage in the cards for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
Furthermore, he discussed Swift’s upcoming album, Life of a Showgirl. He mentioned that he didn’t know anything about the album, including its title, at the time, only that the 35-year-old songstress was working on it in Los Angeles. He expressed his belief that the album, like much of Swift’s discography, was “going to be beautiful.”
