Elizaveta Porodina, the renowned photographer and artist based in Munich, Germany, helmed the photoshoot. Meanwhile, Tonne Goodman did the styling.
The ultimate result was rather breathtaking, with a mix of art and Sweeney’s appeal. The surreal photoshoot had many positive reactions on Instagram.
However, it was not only the photoshoot from the Wall Street Journal that brought attention to Sweeney. Rather, it was her comment about her bathwater soap, where she said that only women were complaining about it, that drew fierce criticism online.
Sweeney said to the Wall Street Journal about her perception, “It’s important to have a finger on the pulse of what people are saying, because everything is a conversation with the audience.” She added about the backlash she faced after partnering with Dr. Squatch to sell soaps infused with her bathwater, “It was mainly the girls making comments about it, which I thought was really interesting. They all loved the idea of Jacob Elordi’s bathwater.”
This comment has since drawn a lot of negative reactions.
