Shakira took a break from her demanding global tour schedule on Wednesday and was spotted enjoying the beach of Cabo in a bikini. The 48-year-old star turned heads in a metallic pink bikini with beaded fringe. Her beach look highlighted her toned figure and defined abs.
At one moment, she was seen sitting cross-legged in a meditative pose with her eyes closed and her hands resting gently on her knees. Later, as the sun dipped lower, she layered her beachwear with a coordinating skirt and fringed top before dipping her feet into the ocean. The photographs were acquired by TMZ.
The Cabo outing came during a short pause in her Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran world tour, which has already made music history. The tour is now the highest-grossing for any female artist in 2025. It has surpassed the earnings of global icons Beyoncé and Lady Gaga. Her next stop is set for August 23 in Monterrey, Nuevo León. She’ll then go to Mexico City for four back-to-back shows.
At her Miami concert earlier this year, Shakira reflected on the magnitude of her current success. She shared that years ago, she had been in the audience at Hard Rock Stadium watching Beyoncé perform. She said, “The last time I came to Hard Rock Stadium, I saw Beyonce’s show and I said to myself, ‘How amazing would it be if I could play the stadium one day?'”
The singer also expressed gratitude to her fans, saying, “I have the best crowd in the world. You make all of my dreams come true.” In June, Shakira also confirmed after much speculation that the tour would extend to the United Kingdom.
