Pedro Pascal made a strong impression at the HBO Max Emmy Nominee Celebration on Sunday, August 17, in Los Angeles.

Attending alongside his “The Last of Us” co-stars Bella Ramsey and Kaitlyn Dever, Pascal opted for a head-to-toe Celine ensemble that combined classic tailoring with subtle retro flair. His outfit included black socks, beige wide-leg trousers, an olive green collared shirt, and an oversized blazer. This was complemented by a pair of leather slip-on Miles loafers from Celine’s Spring 2026 collection. The loafers featured a slim silhouette with an elongated almond toe, four round gold eyelets on the lace-up area, and an additional eyelet near the ankle.

Every aspect of Pascal’s look reflected careful attention to detail, from the structured blazer to the loafers. The actor’s chosen color palette of khaki, beige, and black conveyed a quiet European elegance. Meanwhile, the precision-cut tailoring and oversized proportions created a relaxed silhouette. Pascal’s military-inspired shirt paid homage to the menswear styles of the late 1960s and early 1970s. Throughout the event, he shared laughter and lighthearted moments with his fellow cast members.

The cast of The Last of Us also talked about Pascal’s Joel’s violent death. The actor spoke about the unusual emotions he experienced while filming Joel’s final moments. He explained, “You realize how monumental that audience is and how sophisticated the storytelling is within that [gaming] medium. None of us were really thinking about that as we were shooting it. We were just in the story.” He also added, “It was strangely painful in a way I hadn’t personalized on previous jobs — but also kind of magical.” (via Gold Derby)

Although the show killed off his character in the very first episode of Season 2, Pascal earned a nomination for Best Lead Actor in a Drama Series.
