Pete Davidson admitted he feels “guilty” that his girlfriend Elsie Hewitt’s pregnancy cannot stay private. The comedian shared his thoughts on The Breakfast Club podcast. He explained how fame has made their experience more public than they wanted.

Pete Davidson admitted he feels “guilty” that his girlfriend, Elsie Hewitt, cannot experience her pregnancy in private.
Speaking on The Breakfast Club, the 31-year-old comedian said, “I feel bad for my girl because I bring a lot of s***. Anything I do or she does now is gonna be a thing.” He added, “She’s a very private person, and she’s the one doing all the work. It’s supposed to be a beautiful experience.”
Davidson clarified that Hewitt has never complained about the attention or expressed resentment. “She’s never made me feel this way or said anything, but I feel so guilty and horrible that I could not allow her to have the ideal pregnancy that almost every woman gets to have and enjoy,” he explained. The couple announced the pregnancy in July with an Instagram post featuring ultrasound images and photos of them together. The caption read, “welp now everyone knows we had sex.”
Page Six reports that 29-year-old Hewitt is due in early winter. Davidson and Hewitt first linked in March when people spotted them on vacation in Florida. In May, they attended the Endometriosis Foundation of America’s Blossom Ball together, where Hewitt praised Davidson, telling People, “He’s so incredible. Honestly, best person I’ve ever met, and I’m so grateful that he’s here tonight.”
The couple’s relationship moved quickly. Reports in May claimed they planned to live together. In June, Hewitt attended Davidson’s stand-up show. Davidson dated Madelyn Cline, Kim Kardashian, Kaia Gerber, Chase Sui Wonders, Phoebe Dynevor, and Kate Beckinsale. He briefly got engaged to Ariana Grande in 2018. Hewitt previously dated producer Benny Blanco, who is now engaged to Selena Gomez.
Davidson also told E! News in July that fatherhood has always been his “dream,” adding, “I’m very lucky and very, very happy.” He said friends like Adam Sandler have given him advice and described the experience as “the best thing you’ll ever do in your life.”
