Why did Andrew Tate slam ex girlfriend with countersuit?
Andrew Tate has taken legal action against his former girlfriend, Bri Stern. He has filed a countersuit that accuses her of fabricating sexual assault allegations to damage his reputation. Tate claims Stern falsely asserted that he choked her during sexual activity, even though she had allegedly told him to stop.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Tate maintains that these claims were untrue. He stated that medical records and expert indicate the injuries she cited were the result of cosmetic procedures rather than assault. The podcaster asserts that Stern intentionally initiated a smear campaign to damage his reputation and exploit his public image for personal gain.
Tate claims she used the alleged false narrative to promote her cryptocurrency and adult content ventures. The countersuit seeks over $50 million in damages and lists claims including defamation, intentional infliction of emotional distress, invasion of privacy, abuse of process, and misappropriation of his likeness.
The legal move follows Stern’s March lawsuit accusing Tate of sexual assault, which he vehemently denied. Tate emphasizes that prosecutors did not pursue charges against him. He notes that Stern continued spreading false allegations even after being informed that the evidence did not support her claims.
Stern’s attorney, Tony Buzbee, dismissed Tate’s countersuit as baseless. Buzbee told TMZ, “His counterclaim is junk and will be dismissed. More importantly, I can’t wait to get him in front of a Los Angeles jury. He will finally be held accountable for his years of his outrageous and harmful conduct.”
