Liam Neeson Talks About ‘Falling in Love’ With Late Wife

Liam Neeson‘s recent comments about his late wife, Natasha Richardson, has garnered significant attention. The actor has also spoken candidly about falling in love with Richardson during their time together in Broadway. This comes amidst headlines about his close relationship with his co-star Pamela Anderson.

Liam Neeson makes rare comment about late wife

Liam Neeson is opening up about the bond he shared with his late wife, Natasha Richardson. In an interview with The New York Times, the actor looked back on his breakthrough U.S. stage role in the 1993 Broadway revival of Anna Christie, where he starred opposite Richardson.

During this production, he developed a romantic bond with Richardson, who would become his wife the following year. Neeson recalled, “It was great doing it every night with her. And falling in love.”

The couple remained together until 2009, when Richardson tragically died at the age of 45 after a skiing accident. The two shared sons Micheál and Daniel. Since Richardson’s death, Neeson has kept his private life largely out of the public eye. However, he had previously acknowledged the profound influence Richardson had on his life.

Neeson’s comment comes amidst speculation about his relationship with The Naked Gun co-star Pamela Anderson. Although they haven’t confirmed any romantic involvement, the pair have sparked rumors through a series of public appearances.

Previously, in an interview with PEOPLE, Neeson spoke warmly of Anderson, saying, “I can’t compliment her enough, I’ll be honest with you. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She’s funny and so easy to work with.” Meanwhile, Anderson said that working with Neeson is “an absolute honor.”

At The Naked Gun’s New York City premiere, Anderson told Extra, “We just like each other.” The actor also added, “It just grew naturally. We didn’t force it, just allowed it to grow.”
