While attending the New York City premiere of The Naked Gun on July 28, 2025, Anderson opened up about their growing friendship and onscreen chemistry, which have fueled dating rumors in recent weeks.
Speaking alongside Neeson in an interview with Extra, Anderson shared that she initially found Neeson intimidating but their connection developed naturally. She said, “We just like each other.” Neeson added, “It just grew naturally. We didn’t force it, just allowed it to grow.”
Speaking about the project, Neeson said both he and Anderson were fully engaged in the film’s humor and stunts. The actor shared, “I think we were game for most of it,” while Anderson added, “Those are the good parts,” referring to the moments that pushed boundaries.
In a lighter moment during the interview, the two joked about reportedly scaring off the film’s intimacy coordinator. Neeson admitted, “Oh, we did a little bit,” while Anderson suggested, “I don’t know if it was us. It may have been the snowman.” Neeson chimed in, “The snowman. It was a threesome.”
Anderson also spoke positively about the opportunity to showcase her comedic talent in the film. She shared, “It was so much fun. It’s interesting, it’s very serious and very hard work, but it’s all about timing. We had a good time.”
