Taylor Swift Gives Unexpected Review for Happy Gilmore 2

Taylor Swift recently reviewed Happy Gilmore 2. The pop superstar took to Instagram to post a glowing review of the comedy sequel, awarding it an impossible score. Her post also seems to give a nod to Travis Kelce’s cameo in the film.

How did Taylor Swift rate Happy Gilmore 2?

Taylor Swift has publicly backed Happy Gilmore 2, showing enthusiastic support for the film and Travis Kelce’s brief role in it.

The pop star posted to her Instagram Story to celebrate the release of the long-awaited sequel. The film features Kelce in a cameo as a waiter. Swift included a photo of Adam Sandler reprising his role as the chaotic golfer Happy Gilmore and added it with a glowing review. She wrote, “Happy Gilmore 2 had me cackling and cheering the whole movie! An absolute must watch, 13/10, go watch it on @netflix as soon as humanly possible.”

Although Swift didn’t provide any additional comments on the storyline itself, her review has added to the growing buzz around the film. She ended her message with a honey emoji, which appeared to reference Kelce’s cameo as a shirtless, honey-covered waiter in one of the film’s scenes.

Her reaction came just a day after Kelce publicly shared several personal photos of himself with the pop star. This officially marks their relationship debut on Instagram. Keeping the caption simple, he wrote, “Had some adventures this offseason, kept it.”

Happy Gilmore 2 made its debut on Netflix on July 25, nearly three decades after the original film first hit theaters in 1996. Sandler reprises his role as the hot-headed golfer. Meanwhile, Christopher McDonald, Julie Bowen, and Ben Stiller return to their original roles. The sequel also introduces new cast members, including Bad Bunny, Benny Safdie, and Haley Joel Osment. The film is directed by Kyle Newacheck.
