Here’s How Many Points Lakers’ Bronny James Scored Tonight Against Clippers

One year after making his professional debut, Bronny James, the son of NBA legend Lebron James, seems to be progressing steadily with his career, having recently turned heads with his performance in the Los Angeles Lakers’ latest Summer League game. The up-and-coming point guard proved to be one of the most prolific players in the Lakers’ Monday match-up against the LA Clippers. As such, fans have come out to enquire about the points Bronny scored in the clash, as well as his overall stats in the ongoing Summer League.

Lebron James’ son Bronny scores 17 points vs. Clippers

In the NBA Summer League fixture between the Los Angeles Lakers and the LA Clippers, which took place at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas on July 14, Lebron James’ son Bronny scored an impressive 17 points.

Additionally, the 20-year-old athlete recorded five rebounds and five assists in the 24 minutes he was on the court. James’ superlative output in the bout made him his side’s leading man in the scoring and assists department. He also finished the game as one of only two Lakers players to have reached double-digit points. Bronny James’ exploits in the match against the Clippers also took his scoring stats to 39 points in the NBA Summer League, making him one of the most productive players for the Lakers in the competition.

Despite Bronny James’ heroics in the game, which LeBron James himself attended, the Los Angeles Lakers ended up falling short, losing the fixture 67-58. The defeat means that the Lakers now have a disappointing record of 1-2 in the Summer League.

JJ Redick’s men will now take on the Boston Celtics in their final Summer League outing, with hopes of ending the tournament on a high. While the encouraging form of LeBron James’ son suggests that he has a significant chance of featuring in the July 17 game, fans will have to wait for the Lakers to release the official lineup for the match-up to confirm this.
