Beyoncé‘s team recently faced a robbery, as a result of which her unreleased music and other sensitive documents were stolen in Atlanta, as per reports. The incident involved two of the pop superstar’s team members.
Beyonce’s unreleased music robbed from choreographer’s car
As per an incident report that The Hollywood Reporter claims to have reviewed, the alleged robbery occurred last week, on July 8. The singer’s choreographer, Christopher Grant, and dancer Diandre Blue shared details of the theft with the officials.
As per the duo, they left their rental car around 8 p.m. after parking it at a deck. When they returned, they realized someone had broken through the trunk. The pair stated that the stolen items include two suitcases containing unreleased music and other items.
The publication additionally reported that the suspect has robbed “water marked music, some un-released music, footage plans for the show and past and future set lists.” Not just music, clothing items, AirPods Max headphones, and MacBook laptops were also missing from the rental car.
Since the investigation began, the authorities have already discovered two prints when they dusted the rental car, WSB-TV revealed. As per another update from Channel 2’s Michael Seiden, the authorities have already obtained an arrest warrant for a suspect.
The police have also detailed how they are chasing multiple leads, including using Apple’s Find My feature to track the stolen AirPods Max headphones. Following the Find My lead, the police reached an “undisclosed location” where the headphones were ringing.
An officer noted, “I conducted a suspicious stop in the area, due to the information that was relayed to me.” They added, “There were several cars in the area also that the AirPods were pinging to in that area also. After further investigation, a silver (redacted), which had traveled into zone 5 was moving at the same time as the tracking on the AirPods.”
Fortunately, reports further disclose that surveillance cameras around the area of the rental car have successfully captured the break-in. The video footage could prove to be crucial to the investigation.
As per the latest update, cops suspect “a red 2025 Hyundai Elantra with a Georgia license plate,” which the suspect (or suspects) was allegedly driving.
