Pedro Pascal Parts Ways With Stylist Amid Death Threats

Julie Ragolia, Pedro Pascal’s stylist, has officially confirmed that she has ended her professional partnership with the actor. The announcement comes just months after Ragolia revealed she had been receiving online abuse from fans upset over Pascal’s red carpet looks.

Julie Ragolia has confirmed that her professional partnership with Pedro Pascal has come to an end. She officially announced that the two had parted ways following the Cannes Film Festival.

Although the announcement came weeks after she publicly addressed harsh criticism over Pascal’s red carpet looks, Ragolia made it clear that their split was not caused by the online backlash. She told GQ, “I’m a storyteller, so I told a story about how men of a certain age can still be seen as sexy. After Cannes was a good time to part ways.”

Ragolia had been working with Pascal since 2023, following the release of The Last of Us. Back in April, the stylist revealed through a tweet that she had been subjected to extreme backlash. This includes death threats from fans unhappy with Pascal’s outfit at a Star Wars event in Japan. In a post on X, she wrote, “One of you called for my death because you didn’t like Pedro’s outfit. I’m not even going to comment on individual taste or one’s personal preferences. I’m just going to let you sit with your obsession.”

When another user mocked her work and accused her of copying runway looks, Ragolia shot back with a sarcastic reply. In one post, she also added, “Pedro is a grown adult with his own opinions on what he likes and what feels good to him. Stylists are not dictators. We are collaborators.”

As of late June, Jamie Mizrahi has taken over as Pedro Pascal’s stylist. Mizrahi has already worked with him on promotional tours for his upcoming projects, Eddington and The Fantastic Four: First Steps.
