The lawsuit of Blake Lively is drawing fresh attention as she targets high-profile internet figures linked to her ongoing feud with Justin Baldoni. The actress has allegedly subpoenaed Perez Hilton, Candace Owens, and Andy Signore. She alleges they played a role in a coordinated smear campaign following her film It Ends With Us.
Here’s how Lively’s subpoenas aim to uncover digital collusion in the Baldoni case.
Blake Lively reportedly brings high-profile names into legal case against Justin Baldoni
Blake Lively reportedly subpoenaed Perez Hilton, Candace Owens, and Andy Signore on July 1, 2025. She seeks their communications with Justin Baldoni and Wayfarer to support her smear campaign claims.
TMZ first reported that the subpoenas may stem from a judge’s order allowing Lively to pursue discovery in the ongoing case. A source confirmed the subpoenas’ focus on possible collaboration between Baldoni’s team and anti-Lively content creators. The aim is to determine if they worked together to influence public opinion online.
Candace Owens responded in a statement to People: “Given the fact that I have not received any subpoena yet, I appreciate Blake’s team leaking this to TMZ to alert me to it. And, of course, I have not the slightest idea what I am being subpoenaed for as I knew none of these parties when their respective lawsuits were filed.” Owens had previously discussed the legal case on her podcast and social media.
Andy Signore’s attorney, Nathaniel Broughty, told Us Weekly, “My client has not been served with any legal process at this time. Should service occur, we intend to vigorously defend against any claims and will protect the confidentiality of sources on both sides.” Signore has shared exclusive legal updates and is working on a documentary titled It Ends With Justice.
Perez Hilton appeared in the In Dispute: Lively vs. Baldoni documentary. He previously worked with Justin Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, but has not commented on the subpoena.
Blake Lively accuses Justin Baldoni of sexual harassment and running a smear campaign. Baldoni denied the claims and countersued Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and others for $400 million, but Judge Lewis J. Liman dismissed the suit in June 2025. The trial begins in May 2026.
