Halle Bailey is making waves off-screen while filming in Italy. She was recently spotted getting close to a new mystery man. As cameras rolled on her upcoming romantic comedy Italianna, photos showed the singer-actress kissing and cuddling aboard a yacht. This marks her first public romance since splitting from DDG.

Halle Bailey was recently photographed sailing along the Italian coast with a new unidentified man.
The images, captured by BACKGRID and published by The Shade Room, show the pair kissing, cuddling, and taking photos of one another on a yacht. The man, who has not been identified, is a Black male with long locs and appears to be around Bailey’s age.
Bailey is currently in Italy filming Italianna, a romantic comedy directed by Kat Coiro. The film is based on an original idea by Ryan and Kristin Engle and began production in early June. Her co-star, Regé-Jean Page, 37, is not the man seen with her on the yacht.
The 25-year-old singer and actress has not been publicly linked to anyone since her October 2024 split from rapper and YouTuber DDG, whose legal name is Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr. The former couple shares a one-year-old son named Halo. Their separation has since turned contentious. In May 2025, Bailey was granted a restraining order after accusing DDG of multiple forms of abuse.
Court filings described a January incident in which Bailey alleged, “We fought each other, wrestling and tussling. At one point, Darryl was pulling my hair. He then slammed my face on the steering wheel, causing my tooth to get chipped” (via BBC). DDG’s request for a restraining order against Bailey was later denied.
In June, DDG sought permission to see Halo while Bailey had custody of him in Italy. Her attorney, Jeremy Lane, stated that visitation would be permitted only under professional supervision rather than with DDG’s mother.
Separately, Bailey shared birthday wishes to her sister Chloe, posting baby and recent photos on Instagram stories with messages like, “you’ve always been my protector,” and “God blessed me big time with you as my sister.”
