Since the post went up, the phrase “Glen Powell Batman” has started trending, as many fans were surprised to learn of his appearance in the 2012 Christopher Nolan-directed blockbuster.

Though his time on screen was brief, Powell emphasized how important landing that part was for him. The actor said, “I was getting to work with the greatest director on the planet, Christopher Nolan. And you’re sitting there and all of a sudden Tom Hardy walks in as Bane. It’s electric. It’s sort of out-of-body.”
