Talk show host and comedian Rosie O’Donnell has publicly criticized Amazon founder Jeff Bezos‘ lavish $50 million wedding to Lauren Sanchez. The Daytime Emmy winner took to Instagram to condemn the extravagant display of wealth, controversially referring to Bezos’ new wife as a “fake fem bot.”

Rosie O’Donnell does not seem happy about the billionaires’ gathering at Jeff Bezos’ multi-million-dollar nuptials that took place in Venice. The 63-year-old TV host took to Instagram to criticize the opulent wedding.
O’Donnell noted, “The BEZOS wedding.. It turned my stomach. Seeing all these billionaires,
gathering in the gross excess of it all. The show of it.” The comedian also questioned several celebrities’ attendance, asking if they are close to Bezos.
She wrote, “Is Oprah friends with Jeff Besos (sic). Really – how is that possible. He treats his employees with disdain. By any metric he is not a nice man.” The I Know This Much Is True star also commented on Bezos’ new wife, Lauren Sanchez.
The comedian said, “And his fake fem bot [sic] wife who looks like that. Why would he choose her after the salt of the earth Mackenzie.” O’Donnell ended her rant, claiming Bezos has “Sold his soul. Is what it looks like from here. The devil is smiling. At all his conquests.”
In a Substack essay, O’Donnell further commented on Bezos’ state of affairs, stating, “Bezos was raised by a single mother. He knows exactly what he does . So do all of his guests. Posing for photos forgetting themselves.”
O’Donnell also criticized the “Celebrity worship” that seems to be “Devoid of humanity.” Her poetic essay also referenced another powerful figure, Donald Trump. She stated, “As the trump bill gets ready for a vote. And it looks like it will pass. Because the GOP is owned by him. Traitors to the American people – one and all.”
Meanwhile, Bezos and Sanchez wrapped up their three-day-long wedding celebrations in Venice on Saturday, June 28. The main wedding ceremony took place at the historic San Giorgio Maggiore island in the San Marco sestiere.
Some of the A-listers of Hollywood attended the wedding, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Kardashian-Jenner members, Karlie Kloss, Oprah Winfrey, and Usher.
