Sydney Sweeney ‘Toilet Piss’ Soap on eBay Is Fake

After Sydney Sweeney‘s limited-edition Bathwater Bliss soap sold out in seconds, fake listings have appeared on eBay, including crude parodies like “Sydney’s Toilet Piss Bliss Bar Soap.”

Here’s everything you need to know about fake Sydney Sweeney products selling on the secondary market.

What is Sydney Sweeney ‘Toilet Piss’ soap about?

Consumers have found fake products like “Sydney’s Toilet Piss Bliss Bar Soap” selling on eBay for £6.99. The fake soaps come in similar Dr. Squatch packaging, which could fool some fans. As more and more fake listings of the actress’ products pop up, Dr. Squatch, the original soap company, has warned against counterfeit products flooding resale platforms.

Speaking of the faux listings, a spokesperson of the company told The U.S. Sun, “While we don’t control third-party resellers, we can confirm that Dr. Squatch has not authorized the Sydney Sweeney Bathwater or any of our limited edition items to be sold through retail stores like Walmart or similar platforms.”

The statement further noted, “Because of this, we can’t verify the authenticity or condition of products sold outside our official website or authorized partners.”

Meanwhile, Sydney Sweeney’s limited-edition bathwater soap was released on June 6, and it sold out pretty soon. Since then, the controversial hygiene product has been surfacing on sites like eBay for astonishingly high prices.

The White Lotus star’s soap was being sold for $8 at the official Dr. Squatch site. But on eBay listings, the price of the limited edition item can be as high as $300-700.

While the idea of selling bathwater as soap felt bizarre to many fans, Sweeney talked about what she felt about it to the press. At her new movie Echo Valley’s premiere, she responded to PEOPLE‘s comment about the soap.

When the publication said, “The internet was either all for it, with some saying ‘whatever makes men take showers,’” The Euphoria star chimed in, saying, “I mean, honestly though.” In another chat with E! News, Sweeney revealed that she pitched the bathwater soap idea to Dr. Squatch.
