‘What Is TEU?’ Trends Amid Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce Red Carpet Debut

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce recently made headlines for walking their first red carpet together. As photos from the night flooded social media, fans began asking: What exactly is TEU, and why are Swift and Kelce there?

‘What is TEU?’ trend explained

TEU stands for Tight End University, a football training camp created in 2021 by NFL star Travis Kelce alongside fellow tight end George Kittle and sportscaster Greg Olsen. Held annually in Nashville, the three-day summer camp gathers tight ends from across the league for intensive drills, recovery sessions, film study, and other activities. But this year, TEU wasn’t just a big deal for football fans as it drew attention from Swifties and pop culture watchers, too.

At the opening night ceremony, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce walked the red carpet hand-in-hand for the first time ever. A video shared by the official Tight End University Instagram account featured the same, with fans gushing and writing, “This, as their first red carpet appearance, is kinda perfect!!” Another added, “I cannot express enough how much I LOVE that Taylor didn’t look at the cameras she looked at Travis looking at the cameras! Having his moment. Holy class act!!”

The event also featured a group photo of TEU’s founders posing with their partners. Swift and Kelce stood on one end, George Kittle with his wife Claire on the other, and Greg Olsen and his wife Kara took the center spot. Later on, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce joined the afterparty, keeping the celebratory mood going. According to People‘s source, Swift is “excited” for the upcoming football season, not just to support Kelce on the field, but because, this time in their relationship, she’s not juggling a world tour.
