The White Lotus star Walton Goggins is lending his voice to Jimmy John’s “Summer Menu of Ultimate Temptation” (S.M.U.T.). The sandwich chain’s unconventional summer campaign features specialty sandwiches alongside an exclusive romance-fantasy audiobook narrated by the actor.

Customers of Jimmy John’s can hear an audiobook narrated by the Fallout actor when they order sandwiches for the summer. Loyalty program members will gain access to the steamy audio content as part of the promotional tie-in.
As per reports, Walton Goggins will read the fantasy fiction titled “The Blade and the Brine.” The two-part celebrity-narrated audiobook will be available online from June 23 to July 6, 2025. Customers can also access the book on the JJ app via the code BEACHREAD.
Consumers have to unlock both parts of the audiobook in two installments by placing orders during specific promotional windows. The first chapter becomes available for Freaky Fast Rewards members when they purchase any sandwich or wrap from June 23-29.
Meanwhile, the second installment requires an order placed between July 1-6. Moreover, both audiobook segments will be delivered directly to the email address linked to customers’ rewards accounts.
For the ones curious to know about the story, The Blade and the Brine unveils the story of Viola, a Jimmy John’s delivery girl who can’t decide between her two loves. She then learns that she will become the Queen Mayo in the first part of the audiobook.
In the second part, Viola will have to pick her lover from two suitors. Her first suitor is Lord Mayo, who has charmed her in part one. Viola’s second option is Lord Pickle, who is “dark and mysterious.” The total audiobook is going to be 13 minutes long. (via USA Today)
