Simone Ashley turned heads on the red carpet at the F1 movie premiere in London on June 23.

The Bridgerton star appeared all smiles as she posed for photos at Cineworld Leicester Square, showing her support for the high-profile racing film. She arrived on the red carpet wearing a dramatic gold sleeveless outfit from Balmain’s Fall 2025 collection. The striking piece featured a sculptural and flared waistline. Ashley completed her look with softly tousled curls, a glowing complexion, and minimal gold jewelry.

Ashley’s attendance at the premiere came despite her role in the film ultimately being cut. Although she had been cast in the Formula One drama in July 2024 and had even filmed scenes, director Joseph Kosinski recently confirmed that her part didn’t make it into the final version. Still, the actress showed her full support for the project and its team.

Prior to the London premiere, Ashley had been spotted filming scenes for the movie. She also made a public appearance at an F1-related event in Miami alongside co-star Kerry Condon and producer Jerry Bruckheimer. In a June interview with ELLE, Ashley commented on her involvement with the film. She said, “I have a very small part, but I’m grateful to be in that movie… I got to experience many Grand Prix. I don’t think I’ll ever do anything like that again.”

F1, which stars Brad Pitt as a retired driver returning to Formula One with a fictional team, is directed by Kosinski and written by Ehren Kruger. The movie also features Damson Idris, Tobias Menzies, Kim Bodnia, and Javier Bardem. It will be released in theaters on June 27.
