On Sunday, June 22, 2025, actor Martin Kove allegedly assaulted his Cobra Kai co-star Alicia Hannah-Kim during Summer Con in Washington.
According to a police report obtained by People, Hannah-Kim claimed Kove “grabbed her arm and bit her upper arm so hard it nearly drew blood,” prompting her to cry out in pain. The incident occurred when she tapped Kove on the shoulder to greet him at the casting booth. The report further states Kove then kissed the area he had bitten.
Hannah-Kim, 37, starred alongside Kove, 78, in Seasons 5 and 6 of Cobra Kai. After the alleged incident, she and her husband, actor Sebastian Roché, confronted Kove, who reportedly “exploded on them” and insisted he “did not do anything wrong.” Hannah-Kim then approached an on-site law enforcement officer to report the incident. The officer observed a visible bite mark on her arm that was “already turning blue and bruising.”
The officer’s report states Kove “admitted to biting” her and said he did it “out of jest,” believing they were playing fighting as they allegedly do on set. He also said he “did not mean for it to be perceived as illegal.” The officer told Kove that his actions were unlawful and would not be tolerated in the future. Security removed Kove and his son after they refused to give a statement.
Although Hannah-Kim declined to press charges, she requested an official police report “in case this continues.” Both she and her husband signed affidavits and received a case number. Representatives for both actors have not responded to the allegations.
