Dua Lipa has officially confirmed her engagement to actor Callum Turner. In an interview with British Vogue, the singer shared the news over dinner, saying, “Yeah, we’re engaged. It’s very exciting.”
Lipa also revealed that Turner had designed the ring with help from her sister and closest friends. She said, “I’m obsessed with it. It’s so me. It’s nice to know the person that you’re going to spend the rest of your life with knows you very well.” The singer added, “This decision to grow old together, to see a life and just, I don’t know, be best friends forever – it’s a really special feeling.”
Though the couple is thrilled, they haven’t begun planning the wedding. With her world tour still underway and Turner tied up with acting commitments, they are focused on enjoying this phase. The singer also admitted, “I’ve never been someone who’s really thought about a wedding, or dreamt about what kind of bride I would be. All of a sudden, I’m like: ‘Oh, what would I wear?’”
The couple’s relationship began making headlines in January 2024, when they were first seen together at the Masters of the Air premiere afterparty in London. Turner, who stars in the Apple TV+ drama, was seen slow dancing with Lipa in a video that quickly circulated. Since then, the two have remained low-key but have appeared together at industry events and dinners.
In July 2024, they made their relationship Instagram official when Lipa posted two photos with Turner from the Glastonbury Festival. Fans had already begun speculating about an engagement after Lipa was seen wearing a diamond ring in Christmas 2024 photos.
