Due to Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s recent outings, many fans of the celebrity couple have come out to question if the duo has already gone through their wedding. The pop icon and her partner recently received an invitation to the Chicago Bears tight end Cole Kmet’s wedding to Emily Jarosz. One of the images to come out of the ceremony has led admirers of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift to believe that the pair got married in secret.
So, here’s why fans are speculating that the popular couple has secretly tied the knot, and whether there’s any truth to the same.
Why do fans think Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce got married secretly?
Cole Kmet’s wedding planner, Ellie Nottoli, recently shared some details and pictures from the NFL star’s wedding. The release also included the invitation that Kmet and Jarosz sent out to Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift. The graceful letter highlighted the table number assigned to the pair, which was 13, along with the couple’s name.
Nottoli also took to her Instagram stories to share the said pictures. She wrote, “We all know Taylor and Travis were at a different wedding in Tennessee. But each guest had an envelope that was adhered to a beautiful backdrop, and Emily wrote love notes to all of her guests,” as per Daily Mail.
Additionally, the invitation included the pair’s name in an innovative way, which read, “Taylor and Travis Kelce.” The inclusion of the “Shake it Off” singer’s name with her partner’s surname has led many fans to believe that the couple has exchanged vows in private.
On the other hand, some simply consider it to be a creative choice on Nottoli’s part and not an indication of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s supposed wedding. At the time of writing, neither of the two has shared any official word regarding their much-discussed but yet unproven nuptials.
Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift ultimately decided to skip Cole Kmet’s marriage ceremony. Instead, they attended the wedding of the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s cousin, Tanner Corum. It took place in Knoxville, Tennessee, on Friday.
