‘Scooter Braun Net Worth’ Trends Amid Huge Taylor Swift Deal

Following Taylor Swift‘s purchase of her master recordings from Shamrock Capital in 2025, fans are speculating about Scooter Braun’s current net worth. Braun’s Ithaca Holdings previously acquired Swift’s first six albums from her former label before selling to the investment firm.

Fans want to know Scooter Braun’s net worth in 2025 as he once bought Taylor Swift’s masters from her former label, Big Machine. Previously, Swift had revealed in an X (formerly Twitter) post that even while Shamrock Capital owned her masters, Scooter Braun would continue to “profit off” them under certain terms. With the Grammy winner gaining back her rights, it appears that Braun will not be monetizing from Swift’s music anymore.

As per CelebrityNetWorth, the entrepreneur has an estimated net worth of $500 million. The record executive’s net worth skyrocketed after he sold his music investment firm, Ithaca Holdings, to BTS’s company, HYBE, for $1 billion.

Previously, Swift had criticized Braun’s ownership of her album rights, accusing him of bullying her in 2019. When Braun acquired the hitmaker’s music catalogue, Swift noted in a Tumblr post that she ”never in my worst nightmares” imagined that her albums would go to Braun.

A year later, when Braun sold her masters to Shamrock Capital, Swift addressed why she could not make a new deal with the firm. The singer noted, “As soon as we started communication with Shamrock, I learned that under their terms Scooter Braun will continue to profit off my old musical catalog for many years (via TIME).

The entertainer added, “I was hopeful and open to the possibility of a partnership with Shamrock, but Scooter’s participation is a non-starter for me.”

Finally, Swift has gained back the rights to her music. In a new letter to fans, the “Karma” singer praised Shamrock Capital’s efforts in making it happen. She gushed, “I will be forever grateful to everyone at Shamrock Capital for being the first people to ever offer this to me.”

Swift, however, did not disclose the price that she had to pay to gain her rights. The New York Times reported that an insider said the deal has cost Swift “more than $300 million.”
