At the time of writing, neither Swift nor ABC has shared any official word regarding the former’s much-discussed involvement in the forthcoming installment of the fan-favorite dance competition show.
Theories regarding Taylor Swift appearing on DWTS Season 34 began circulating on the internet after Jenna Johnson noted that she would “love” to have a football player, Jason Kelce in particular, as her dancing partner on the show. During her recent appearance on the Call It What It Is podcast, Johnson said, “I have not had a football player, and I think that they’re just so incredible on the show.”
She then highlighted how having retired Philadelphia Eagles center as her DWTS partner would be “fun,” noting, “Jason Kelce, I just keep throwing his name out because I think he would be so fun. I just think he has the vibe where he doesn’t take things too seriously.” Johnson also added, “I would just be down for a really fun person who is just down for the experience. It’s ballroom dancing, it’s not that serious at the end of the day, so I think he would have such great energy.”
As such, Swifites have theorized that if Jason Kelce ends up signing up for DWTS Season 34, his brother, Travis Kelce, and the latter’s partner, Taylor Swift, would realistically show up to lend their support to the former NFL veteran. Considering that 24 NFL players have already participated in Dancing with the Stars, with Emmitt Smith doing so twice, it is possible for Jason Kelce to follow suit. While all of this is mere speculation at the moment, if Kelce ends up joining the DWTS Season 34 roster, Taylor Swift might just get the chance to see the singer on the long-running reality series.
