Cassie Ventura was reportedly taken to a hospital in New York City and admitted to the labor and delivery wing on Tuesday, according to TMZ sources. The news comes just two weeks after the singer completed four days of testimony in the criminal trial against her former partner, Sean “Diddy” Combs. The sudden hospital visit has raised concerns about possible pregnancy-related complications.

Ventura took the stand as a witness in the criminal case involving Combs, who faces multiple charges including sex trafficking, racketeering, and prostitution-related offenses. During her time on the stand, she recounted years of alleged abuse spanning their relationship from 2007 to 2018. Her testimony included graphic details of assault, rape, and coercion, with Ventura breaking down as she described the trauma she says she endured.

During her time on the witness stand, Ventura described incidents of rape and physical assault. She also discussed developments that occurred after their final separation in 2018. She also spoke about undergoing trauma therapy and time in rehab as she tried to recover from the abuse. Her husband, Alex Fine, remained present throughout her testimony, supporting her from the courtroom gallery.

Following her final day of testimony, Ventura issued a statement describing the experience as emotionally demanding. She expressed hope that her words might empower others who have experienced abuse to come forward. She said, “I hope that my testimony has given strength and a voice to other survivors, and can help others who have suffered to speak up and also heal from the abuse and fear.” (via New York Post)

Cassie and Fine, who married in 2019, already share two daughters, Frankie and Sunny. They announced their third pregnancy in February 2025.
