Singer Demi Lovato‘s wedding dress has a special connection to Miley Cyrus. The former Disney star recently tied the knot with the artist Jordan “Jutes” Lutes and chose a Vivienne Westwood wedding dress that has matching features to Miley Cyrus’s.

Demi Lovato’s Vivienne Westwood wedding dress bears striking similarities to Miley Cyrus’ 2018 bridal gown. Both feature off-the-shoulder necklines and matching silky sheens with elegant draping along the hips and skirt.
Lovato told Vogue that she has been a “fan of Vivienne Westwood’s designs for a long time,” revealing why she chose the off-the-shoulder dress for the special day to the publication.
The “Heart Attack” singer noted, “When I was thinking about [what dress style I wanted] I often found myself coming back to Vivienne’s designs—specifically how the silhouettes really complement the curves in your body, and her use of corsets.”
Lovato “loved” the dress’s romantic neckline that created a flowy shape. As per Vogue, the dress drew inspiration from the attire of “high society women of the 18th century.” Additionally, the A-line shape of the skirt was draped evocatively like ancient Greek statues.
Lovato’s dress reminded fans of Miley Cyrus’ 2018 wedding dress when the Hannah Montana star married Liam Hemsworth. However, Cyrus’s gown did not feature a corset bodice, but did have a similar neckline.
