Demi Lovato and Jordan ‘Jutes’ Lutes are now married

Demi Lovato married Jordan “Jutes” Lutes on Sunday, May 25, in a ceremony held in California.

According to Vogue, Lovato wore a custom Vivienne Westwood pearl-white gown featuring a corset bodice and cathedral-style tulle veil. She collaborated closely with the Westwood team and later changed into a second gown—an ivory silk satin column dress with a draped corset and broken pearl detailing—for the reception.

The couple went public with their relationship in August 2022 after meeting during a writing session for Lovato’s album Holy Fvck. They got engaged on December 16, 2023, in what PEOPLE described as a “personal and intimate proposal” in Los Angeles. The engagement included a custom song and a pear-shaped solitaire diamond ring designed by Material Good.

On the eve of the wedding, the couple held a rehearsal dinner planned by event coordinator Mindy Weiss. Lovato later shared a Valentine’s Day Instagram post in 2024 expressing anticipation for their marriage: “Jordan, I cannot WAIT to marry you!! The past 3 years have been the best 3 years of my life and I have you to thank for that.”

In September 2024, Lovato told PEOPLE, “It’s very grounding to have a partner that is so supportive, so loving, so caring.” During the LadyGang podcast, she recalled meeting Jutes, saying, “Oh my God, the hottest guy just walked in. I am so nervous.”

Jutes co-wrote Lovato’s tracks “Substance,” “Happy Ending,” and “City of Angels.” In an August 2023 Instagram tribute, he wrote, “I didn’t know the perfect person existed until I met u… I’m gunna spend the rest of my life protecting u.”

The wedding marks the beginning of their next chapter after nearly three years together.
