Marielle Hadid is the older paternal sister of Gigi Hadid. The former revealed during a recent interview that she gave explicit advice to Taylor Swift about Travis Kelce even before the pop megastar began dating the Kansas City Chiefs tight end.

During an appearance on the Nice Girls Don’t Win podcast on May 21, Marielle revealed that she and Swift talked about Kelce. This happened even before the future couple “actually or officially” met. Marielle recalled that her half-sister Gigi invited her to go to Taylor Swift’s Santa Clara concert in 2023 on the singer’s private jet. Before the concert, the three women played with tarot cards and mentioned Kelce.
“I did pull a card for her because, well, I had seen something where her [current] boyfriend, [Kelce], had said that he wanted to date her. I told Gigi that they should date. … I was like, ‘Come on, even if it’s just for fun.’ This is before they had actually or officially met,” Marielle told hosts Amy Bean and Parvati Shallow. “I pulled this card for her, and I don’t exactly remember which deck it was, but I remember that it was in regards to this, and the word ‘swiftly’ was in the reading. She said she never had a tarot card reading, which I thought was interesting.” (via US Weekly)
This was when Bean asked Marielle whether she had advised Swift about Kelce. The question specifically referred to him being good at sexual intimacy before their relationship began. Marielle responded, “I did. I was like, ‘Come on.’ … She deserves it.”
Notably, Travis Kelce has been in a relationship with Taylor Swift since 2023. They have become arguably the most high-profile couple of today. Meanwhile, Marielle is the daughter of real estate developer Mohamed Hadid and his first wife, Mary Butler. Besides her, Mohamed and Mary share another daughter, Alana. Gigi and her siblings, Bella and Anwar, are Mohamed’s children with the Dutch model Yolanda Hadid.
