Professional football quarterback Kirk Cousins, who currently plays for the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League, made a hilarious remark about Travis Kelce‘s back hair and Taylor Swift. Cousins’ comment came after Kelce was spotted shirtless in Miami, Florida, recently.
Here’s what Kirk Cousins said about Travis Kelce’s back hair and Taylor Swift
During a recent interview with E! News, Cousins reflected on Kelce being spotted shirtless in Miami. “God bless Taylor Swift for being good with that,” Cousins humorously said about Kelce’s thick back hair. “That’s awesome. Good for her.” Notably, Cousins was attending the Grand opening of Universal Epic Universe in Orlando, Florida, at the time.
According to Cousins, Kelce’s back hair is probably not related to football, but rather to “genetics.” He elaborated, “Thankfully, I don’t have to deal with that, but I’m in a locker room a lot. That’s just a part of life. It is what it is.”
Kelce seems to have similar views about his back hair. “I’m a furry son of the b—-,” he said on the May 21 episode of the New Heights podcast, offering it as a reason for having two shirts during the taping. He added, “Me and heat just don’t do well together.”
If anything, the 35-year-old tight end seemed to have zero problem accepting that he has thick body hair. He often refers to himself as “Big Yeti,” a nickname he got while attending the University of Cincinnati. Jason Kelce, Travis’ older brother and the co-host of New Heights, revealed on the podcast in 2022 that Travis received the nickname while playing basketball at Cincinnati. “When Trav was at Cincinnati, he would play basketball in the playground quite a bit,” Jason recalled. “And anyone who has ever played pickup basketball, you know there’s shirts and skins,” he added.
Whenever Travis Kelce played shirtless, he inevitably drew people’s attention. “I had the big beard, I had the long hair. It’s just a big ole Yeti out there, man. All the homies on the court were calling me Big Yeti,” Travis Kelce stated.
