Fans Think Megan Thee Stallion Unfollowed GloRilla on Instagram

Megan Thee Stallion and GloRilla have previously collaborated. However, the “Afford Me” singer recently shared an Instagram story featuring a track by Tory Lanez, prompting fans to speculate about a possible rift between Megan Thee Stallion and GloRilla.

So, has Megan Thee Stallion unfollowed GloRilla on Instagram? Here is everything you need to learn about the situation.

Megan Thee Stallion might have unfollowed GloRilla

Fans believe Megan Thee Stallion may have distanced herself from GloRilla after the rising rapper shared an Instagram story featuring a Tory Lanez track.

The Instagram story included a reflective caption about love, gratitude, and emotional strength, seemingly harmless, but the choice of music sent shockwaves online. She paired the caption with Tory Lanez’s “Y.D.L.R.” song, sending a shockwave to fans.

The timing of GloRilla’s post, paired with Lanez’s song, appeared tone-deaf to some fans, especially given Megan Stallion’s ongoing battle against online harassment connected to the Tory Lanez case. Within hours, fans noticed Megan had unfollowed GloRilla, sparking rumors of a rift. A fan took to X (formerly Twitter) where they posted the screenshot from the story and wrote, “This is so disappointing Glorilla.”

Tory Lanez, convicted in 2022 for shooting Megan Thee Stallion, remains a deeply controversial figure in her life. Lanez is currently serving a 10-year prison sentence. His legal team recently petitioned California Governor Gavin Newsom for a pardon, citing new evidence and referencing a recent prison stabbing incident. Amid this legal turmoil, she posted a bold TikTok statement. “FACTS ARE FACTS, he did it, it was proven in the court f**k the hate campaign on the internet TORY SHOT ME!!,” she wrote.

The friendship between Megan Thee Stallion and GloRilla seemed tight-knit until now. The duo collaborated on their 2024 hit “Wanna Be” and even shared stages during the Hot Girl Summer Tour. Their chemistry appeared strong, both musically and personally.

As of now, neither Megan Thee Stallion nor GloRilla has addressed the unfollow publicly.
