According to PEOPLE‘s insider source, tensions flared between Bill Belichick’s ex-girlfriend, Linda Holliday, and his now partner, Jordon Hudson, at the Dreamland Stroll Party on December 6. The party, DJed by Holliday’s daughters Ashley and Kat Hess, brought the two women into close quarters for the first time since Holliday’s split with Belichick in 2023.
“It was very uncomfortable. There was a lot being exchanged between them. It was very aggressive behavior,” the source told the outlet. While Hudson reportedly didn’t initiate any interactions, she faced repeated questioning and comments from others at the party.
“Jordon never approached anyone, but she was approached the entire night,” with guests questioning her attendance and making what were described as “mean girl” remarks. The overall tone of the evening, intended to be lighthearted and in the holiday spirit, reportedly turned awkward and confrontational.
Though Bill Belichick himself was not present at the event, the outlet’s sources said he and Hudson had otherwise enjoyed a pleasant weekend with friends. However, the night reportedly ended on a sour note for Hudson, who was reportedly asked to leave the party. It was reportedly Linda Holliday who ultimately requested her removal.
“New England is a very small place. Massachusetts is a very small place. Sometimes you’re going to see the same people in that big circle,” the insider noted. “It was a horrible coincidence.”
Belichick and Holliday had split in September 2023 after about 16 years together. With PEOPLE’s source stating they had “been pretty separate for a while.” By December, Holliday had reportedly moved on, “continuing to lead a happy life” while splitting time between Florida and Nantucket.
