Blake Lively Praises Ryan Reynolds Amid Lawsuit Drama

Blake Lively recently showered love on her husband, Ryan Reynolds, dubbing him her “favorite fan” as he promoted her beauty brand, Blake Brown. The shoutout comes amid the couple’s ongoing legal battle with It Ends With Us director Justin Baldoni.

Blake Lively comments on Ryan Reynolds and calls him favorite fan

While promoting Blake Brown’s latest launch, which is a line of hair and body mists, Ryan Reynolds put up a story on Instagram. Blake Lively re-posted that on her social media and shared that Reynolds is more than just a supportive husband, as he’s a devoted fan of the products themselves. She revealed that his favorite scent is Wild Nectar Sandal and admitted that she originally thought he was simply being encouraging.

“He legitimately uses our Hair & Body Mists. His favorite is the Wild Nectar Sandal (scent). I thought he was just being the best and most supportive husband, but he genuinely loves to wear them,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. Lively went on to describe how the scent smells “so yummy and sexy” on him. (via People)

For those unversed, the new fragrance line also features two other scents called Sandalwood Vanille and Bergamot Woods. Lively explained that her husband mixes the mists with his cologne, creating a scent that’s both unique and personal. “His skin picks up the more woody and masculine notes, with the lighter sweetness falling in the background,” she shared.

She continued by marveling at how fragrances adapt to different people, saying, “It’s amazing how versatile fragrance can be and how it adapts to the wearer for any age and gender. Smelling so different on him than me and different on us than our mom or our teenage family members.” In a final touch of appreciation, Lively tagged Reynolds and called him her “favorite fan.”

The public affection comes at a time when the actress is also amidst major legal stress. In December 2024, Blake Lively accused co-star and director Justin Baldoni of sexual harassment and described his behavior on set as “disturbing” and “unprofessional,” among other things. Baldoni has denied the allegations and responded with a countersuit in January 2025. The ongoing case is expected to go to trial in March 2026.
