Blake Lively Lawsuit Is Reportedly Causing Stress for Justin Baldoni

Justin Baldoni and his wife, Emily Baldoni, are reportedly weathering a storm behind the scenes as legal drama escalates between Baldoni and actress Blake Lively. While the high-profile lawsuit continues to drag on, sources close to the couple reveal that the stress is real, but their bond remains unshaken.

The lawsuit, which began in December 2024, has reportedly added a lot of emotional pressure to Justin and Emily Baldoni’s day-to-day life. Lively accused Justin Baldoni of sexual harassment during the production of It Ends with Us, alongside claims of a retaliatory smear campaign. Baldoni, denying the accusations, responded with a $400 million countersuit in January 2025, alleging defamation and extortion against Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and their publicist.

According to a family friend speaking to People, the situation has brought “stress for both of them,” but it’s also brought them closer. “Their marriage is solid, and they are actually closer than ever,” the outlet’s source confirmed.

While facing ongoing legal disputes, Baldoni has been focused on “his family and faith.” The Jane the Virgin actor is reportedly staying grounded with help from a “tight circle of loyal friends.” Despite the intense public attention, he and Emily Baldoni continue to prioritize their two children, Maiya and Maxwell.

“He’s been spending time with his wife, family, and close friends as much as ever,” another insider shared, adding, “He’s always had a small circle close to him, and that hasn’t changed.” Although both lawsuits are set for trial in March 2026, Justin Baldoni and his wife are doing their best to navigate the long road ahead. “March still feels very far away,” according to the reported source.

Still, Baldoni remains hopeful. Described as “a very positive guy,” he continues to express faith in his legal team and optimism about the outcome.
