At Cannes 2025, Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson turned heads when they arrived to debut their latest film, Die, My Love. Their arrival captured attention not only for their fashion choices but also for an unexpected red carpet moment.
As the two made their entrance on Saturday, Pattinson accidentally stepped onto the hem of Lawrence’s voluminous Dior gown, a design inspired by a 1949 Poulenc creation. The Twilight actor reacted quickly and stepped away from the dress. The brief mishap momentarily slowed down the red carpet. Lawrence stunned in the vintage-inspired strapless Dior dress, pairing it with strappy black heels, and delicate diamond studs. She completed the sophisticated look with red lipstick and a neatly styled updo. Later that night, she changed into a modern one-shoulder Dior black gown. The event marked Lawrence’s first major public appearance since welcoming her second child.
Meanwhile, Pattinson opted for a refined black tuxedo with silk lapels and structured shoulders. He added a bow tie, sharp trousers, and polished dress shoes to complete the look.
Directed by Scottish filmmaker Lynne Ramsay, Die, My Love is adapted from Ariana Harwicz’s 2017 novel. It follows the intense story of a emotionally volatile woman, played by Lawrence, “engulfed by love and madness.” Pattinson portrays her husband and LaKeith Stanfield appears as her lover (via Deadline).
