The U.S. president was referring to his initial post, “I hate Taylor Swift,” that he shared after the “All Too Well” crooner publicly endorsed Kamala Harris over him for the presidential election.

Previously, Swift talked about Donald Trump in her 2020 Netflix documentary Miss Americana. In the documentary film, a vulnerable Swift shares that she can no longer be silent about politics.

She criticized Trump and called Tennessee Senator Marsha Blackburn “Trump in a wig.” When her publicist warned of potential backlash from Trump during the 2018 midterms, Swift stood firm on her stance, stating simply, “I don’t care.”

In more recent times, T-Swizzle mentioned Trump in her Instagram post while supporting the Democratic candidate, Kamala Harris. The 14-time Grammy-winning singer gushed, “Recently I was made aware that AI of ‘me’ falsely endorsing Donald Trump’s presidential run was posted to his site.”

She added that the AI video “conjured up” her fears regarding the misuse and the dangers of “spreading misinformation.” The songstress declared, “I need to be very transparent about my actual plans for this election as a voter. The simplest way to combat misinformation is with the truth.”

While Swift has been vocal about criticizing certain political incidents, her beau, Travis Kelce, takes a more neutral route. When reporters asked the Kansas City Chiefs player regarding Trump’s attendance at the 2025 Super Bowl, he answered, “That’s awesome; it’s a great honor no matter who the president is.”
