Gossip Girl star Blake Lively spent a night out with her sisters Robyn and Lori Lively amid rumors of her alleged distance from close friend Taylor Swift. The 37-year-old actress took to Instagram Stories to share a glimpse of her Friday night with Robyn and Lori Lively. The trio visited the International Center of Photography in New York City on May 16 (via Page Six).
Lively reportedly appeared with her sisters to support her artist friends, Anna Palma and Guy Aroch, who held an exhibition to celebrate their decade-long collaboration with Coca-Cola Global Design.
Meanwhile, sources close to Taylor Swift reportedly said that her friendship with The Age of Adaline star is currently facing a rift. An insider told PEOPLE, “Their friendship has halted,” adding, “Taylor wants no part in this drama.” Another insider has claimed that the pair is “taking some space.” But they are “not no longer friends.”
A second source told US Weekly, “Taylor and Blake have talked, but it’s strained.” The insider explained that the duo are no longer speaking on a regular basis. The source added, “Their friendship is not what it used to be.”
Previously, Swift was subpoenaed in the lawsuit between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively. Following the subpoena, the Grammy winner’s team claimed it was “tabloid clickbait.” The “Cruel Summer” hitmaker’s team released a statement regarding the legal case and denied the singer’s alleged involvement.
The spokesperson for Swift told TMZ, “Taylor Swift never set foot on the set of this movie.” The record-making songstress’s team stated that the pop sensation bore no part in “any casting or creative decisions.”
The statement read, “She did not score the film, she never saw an edit or made any notes on the film, she did not even see ‘It Ends With Us’ until weeks after its public release, and was traveling around the globe during 2023 and 2024 headlining the biggest tour in history.”
